I've been a reporter, writer and editor for 31 years and am the author of I Got Stinky Feet, a comic novel about two goofy pals on a truly nutty cross-country motorcycle trip. Most recently I co-authored Raped: Memories of a Catholic Altar Boy with Larry Monte Jr. It's the true, brutally honest and disgusting story about how Larry was raped by a Catholic priest when he was 15, and the tragic aftermath.
I've worked at The Albuquerque Tribune, Weekly Alibi and New Mexico Business Weekly. I started out at the City News Bureau of Chicago.
I'm disgusted with the state of the news media. It's shallow, biased, obsessed with celebrity, and just plain awful. Politicians are worse; they're nothing but gang members in suits who care only for the gang, meaning the party, and nothing for the American public.
I'm the co-host of the Eye on New Mexico Sunday morning TV talk show on KOB-TV, Channel 4, and the host of the Legends of New Mexico program on Gov. 16, cable TV.
